Welcome to the weekly Sabbath Divine Worship service at West Croydon SDA Church.

Sermon Title: Lightly Salted

Sermon Summary: Both salt and light have properties which affect things around them. Salt is used to enhance flavor, and as a preservative. To ‘be salt’ means to deliberately seek to influence the people in one’s life by showing them the unconditional love of Christ through good deeds. Light is a symbol used to mean awareness, knowledge, and understanding. To ‘be light’ means to be a witness to others concerning the truth of God’s Word, especially about who Christ is and how he died and rose again for our salvation.

Scripture Reading: Matthew 5:13-16

Sermon Series: Telling the ‘Good News’

About this Sermon Series: Jesus entrusted everyone who believes to ‘Go’ and spread the good news to others. This means it’s a task assigned to all Christians, so why does it seem so hard to be a witness in modern society? Jesus through his ministry gave us the blueprint of what true discipleship should entail and the ways in which we can achieve it. Follow us through the month of April to find out how you can fulfil your true potential as a disciple of Christ.
